Standards for working with data and consumer protection in e-commerce are the key priorities of the working group under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2026-2027.

A meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence, operating under the Foreign Investors' Council (FIC) under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was held in the office of Beeline Uzbekistan. The roundtable meeting brought together the heads of departments of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of other relevant departments and businesses to discuss a strategic roadmap covering 17 key initiatives in the field of AI regulation, data circulation and e-commerce.

The co-chair of the working group on the part of the FIC is the CEO of Beeline Uzbekistan Evgeniy Nastradin, and the meeting was moderated by the head of the FIC Secretariat Aziz Gafurov.

The central topic of the meeting was the development of a strategic roadmap based on the decisions of the fourth FIC Plenary Meeting. The document includes 17 key initiatives that lay the foundation for the safe implementation of advanced technologies in Uzbekistan. Among them are the preparation of a specialized law on artificial intelligence, the creation of regulatory sandboxes for testing innovations before they enter the market, the introduction of ethical standards for developers and clear rules for working with personal data.

A separate block of initiatives is devoted to the development of e-commerce - in particular, increasing the responsibility of marketplaces and protecting the rights of online buyers, as well as the training of specialists in the field of AI and the implementation of applied digital projects in the public sector.

"We are implementing AI technologies that expand the capabilities of the team - from operational data analytics to deep transformation of the customer experience. At the same time, the creation of sustainable AI solutions requires a mature regulatory environment, transparent work with data and a clear distribution of responsibilities. As a company that operates large-scale amounts of information daily, we consider it fundamentally important to share practical experience and take an active part in the formation of industry standards," said Evgeniy Nastradin, CEO of Beeline Uzbekistan.

Beeline Uzbekistan strives not only to introduce modern technologies, but also to contribute to the formation of a secure digital environment. The company pays special attention to the development of customer service, data protection and personnel training, actively participating in the improvement of industry standards in Uzbekistan.
