Beeline Uzbekistan became the best operator for watching videos from a mobile device, according to Ookla

Ookla, a global leader in mobile and broadband network analysis, has released its report for the first half of 2025. In Uzbekistan, the "Best Mobile Video Experience Award" goes to Beeline Uzbekistan, which represents the international VEON Group in the country.

Ookla’s reports draw on millions of tests performed every day by fixed and mobile users through the Speedtest app. The company also processes billions of background measurements that reflect real-world performance across network quality, signal strength, video streaming, gaming, and web browsing. This comprehensive analysis delivers an objective map of connectivity in each market, forms the basis for national operator rankings, and the prestigious Speedtest Awards.

In the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the first half of the year, Beeline Uzbekistan demonstrated leadership in terms of the quality and speed of traffic transmission when playing videos on users' mobile devices. According to the report, Beeline Uzbekistan achieved the highest Video Streaming Score among mobile operators in the country, with a result of 69.56 points.

The Best Mobile Video Quality Nomination is one of the main categories in Ookla's ratings. Video content is central to the lives of telecom customers, and its popularity continues to grow. In the Beeline Uzbekistan network, the share of video services in total traffic has already reached 70.6%. In response to the growing interest in video content, the operator is developing an entertainment ecosystem with the KINOM service, offering movies, series, and TV channels, as well as Setanta Sports, which broadcasts major international competitions.
