Beeline Uzbekistan has received a special award for its contribution to promoting inclusive employment. The award was presented at the “Inson uchun” (“For People”) ceremony, organized by the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
This is the first award of its kind in Uzbekistan, established to recognize companies that demonstrate a systemic approach to creating inclusive workplaces and supporting the employment of people with disabilities.
The recognition affirms Beeline Uzbekistan’s consistent efforts to foster an inclusive environment. The company is guided by the principles of DE&I (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), with a focus on gender balance, support for people with disabilities and neurodiversity, and respect for cultural, racial, and generational diversity.
“Inclusion at Beeline Uzbekistan is not just a part of our DE&I strategy — it’s a core aspect of our corporate culture. We strive to build a workplace where every employee, regardless of physical or social circumstances, feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential,” said Sofia Gaynutdinova, Beeline Uzbekistan’s Chief HR&OD Officer.
Beeline also offers mandatory training on equality and inclusion for all employees and actively promotes women’s leadership by ensuring equal opportunities for professional growth. Particular emphasis is placed on a reskilling program that supports the Women in STEM initiative: female employees are encouraged to pursue in-demand STEM careers (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) with the company’s support, opening up new avenues for professional advancement.
In 2024, Beeline Uzbekistan’s commitment to global HR best practices and its efforts to create an inclusive and supportive work environment were recognized on an international level. The Top Employers Institute certified Beeline Uzbekistan — part of the global telecommunications group VEON — as a Top Employer for its outstanding achievements in human resource management and high standards of employee development and workplace conditions. Beeline became the first digital telecom operator in Central Asia to earn the Top Employer status, and in 2025, it was certified again.
