News
Specialists from the Cybersecurity Center visited the Security Operations Center — a facility that provides round-the-clock monitoring of information security events and rapid response to potential cyber threats. During the visit, the two sides exchanged practical experience and discussed modern approaches to protecting digital infrastructure.
The Security Operations Center was launched in 2025 at the technology center of Beeline Uzbekistan (VEON Ltd.) and today stands as one of the key elements of Beelab's cybersecurity system. The SOC monitors information security events around the clock, identifies potential threats, and helps ensure the uninterrupted operation of the company's digital services.
During the meeting, Beelab specialists presented their approach to organizing monitoring and incident response, described the processes and tools they use, and shared their practices for maintaining service resilience amid a constantly evolving cyber threat landscape.
Participants paid particular attention to the challenges facing telecom and fintech companies today. Experts discussed key industry trends and the role of government–business cooperation in implementing Uzbekistan's cybersecurity strategy.
"Cybersecurity today is built not only on technology, but on the continuous exchange of knowledge. Meetings like this let us align our approaches, discuss real-world cases, and jointly strengthen the resilience of digital infrastructure. It's important for us to share our own expertise while also learning from the best industry practices," said Akrom Akhmedov, Head of the Information Security Department at Beelab.
This kind of exchange of practical experience between Beelab experts and the Cybersecurity Center helps establish unified, high standards of protection for the fintech sector and strengthens the overall cyber resilience of Uzbekistan's digital environment.
