Beeline Uzbekistan is shortlisted for the prestigious CIPS Excellence in Procurement & Supply Awards

The CIPS Excellence in Procurement & Supply Awards celebrate excellence, innovation and the remarkable organizations or individuals that have made a significant impact in the profession and beyond.

Beeline Uzbekistan, a part of VEON Group, has prioritized diversity and inclusion since its inception in 2006. With a mission to facilitate communication for all, Beeline Uzbekistan's internal culture champions diversity across age, gender, race, and abilities. Despite being in a male-dominated sector, Beeline Uzbekistan’s procurement team is predominantly female and multinational. The company has also enhanced service accessibility for individuals with disabilities by delivering SIM cards nationwide, addressing logistical and infrastructural challenges. Following the expert jury's assessment, the company has been listed among the top three nominees for the award in the category of "Outstanding Diversity and Inclusion Practices in Procurement Teams" highlighting projects and activities focused on DE&I principles.

Being nominated in the DE&I category as a company from Central Asia is a significant achievement and recognition of the digital operator's contribution to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the region. Additionally, Beeline Uzbekistan has become the first operating company within the VEON group to be nominated for a supply chain award.
