Beeline Uzbekistan, SES and UzSAT sign a Memorandum of Understanding to explore prospects for satellite communications

Brussels, Unitel LLC (Beeline Uzbekistan), New Skies Satellites B.V. (SES), and UzSAT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at exploring potential areas of cooperation in the development of satellite communications across Uzbekistan.

The document reflects the parties’ intention to assess possible joint initiatives leveraging satellite technologies to expand connectivity and support ongoing digitalization efforts in the country.

We aim to support initiatives that contribute to the advancement of communications, the expansion of digital inclusion, and ultimately, the improvement of our customers’ quality of life,” said Andrey Pyatakhin, CEO of Beeline Uzbekistan.

The signing of the Memorandum reflects the parties’ commitment to fostering cooperation in the areas of innovation, modernization, and sustainable development. The Memorandum follows the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 21, 2025, which outlines measures for implementing satellite technologies and expanding communication networks in remote areas of the country.
