Beeline Uzbekistan Sets New Mobile Internet Traffic Record: Annual Volume Grows by a Third
News
On December 8, 2025, Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Beeline Uzbekistan recorded the highest daily mobile internet traffic in the company’s history — 4.7 billion megabytes.
This volume would be enough to download nearly 940,000 HD-quality movies, listen to hundreds of millions of music tracks, or make HD video calls non-stop for over 78,000 years.
The record reflects sustained growth in mobile internet usage, which the company has been tracking throughout the year. As of November 2025, monthly traffic increased by 31.6% compared to the same period last year. This growth highlights changes in users’ digital habits: increasing consumption of video content, streaming platforms, and online services specifically via mobile devices.
“2025 has been a year of large-scale growth and technological achievements for us. We consistently expanded our network, modernized base stations, and introduced new frequency ranges to ensure stable connectivity and high-speed mobile internet across the country. The record traffic on December 8 is a clear demonstration of the effectiveness of our work and the network’s readiness to meet users’ growing digital needs,” said Gediz Sezgin, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at Beeline Uzbekistan.
In 2025, the company continued comprehensive network development: more than 450 new base stations were launched, and approximately 650 existing communication facilities were modernized. The largest share of new deployments was in Tashkent, while Fergana Region led in modernization efforts. Systematic network development increased network capacity and ensured stable connectivity throughout the country.
Beeline Uzbekistan continues to invest in digital infrastructure to provide users across the country with reliable connectivity and high-quality mobile internet.
