Beeline Uzbekistan has achieved impressive results since the start of the year, setting a new historic data transmission record. A large-scale infrastructure modernization has also ensured stable connectivity for millions of users, reinforcing the company’s leadership in the telecommunications industry at the international level.

On September 14, the operator’s 4G/LTE network recorded an unprecedented daily data transmission volume of 4 petabytes (PB) — equivalent to 4,000,000 GB. This amount of data could stream around 1.3 million hours of HD video or download nearly 100 million high-quality photos. The milestone marks a new all-time high and reflects the rapidly growing demand for digital services and mobile internet among users.

A similar record was set on March 8, 2023, when Beeline Uzbekistan’s customers downloaded and uploaded around 2,000,000 GB in a single day. In just two years, daily traffic volumes have almost doubled.

To ensure consistent service quality and prepare the network for future growth, the company launched a large-scale modernization program. Since the beginning of 2025, 404 base stations have been fully upgraded, and 329 new sites have been deployed. The transport network capacity has been significantly expanded, while the SMS center has been relaunched with more than double its previous throughput. Today, one in four calls is made over VoLTE, offering users faster connections and superior voice clarity.

Record-breaking data traffic, the growing adoption of VoLTE, and large-scale network modernization are not just technical achievements — they reflect a systematic effort to advance the country’s digital infrastructure,” said Gediz Sezgin, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at Beeline Uzbekistan. “We see that customers value service quality, and international experts recognize our success. In the first half of 2025, Beeline Uzbekistan was honored with the Best Mobile Video Experience award from Ookla, and also won in the Download Speed Experience and Consistent Quality categories according to Opensignal. These achievements confirm that we are moving in the right direction — building modern, reliable digital opportunities for millions of people in Uzbekistan.

Data traffic continues to grow steadily. Between January and August 2025, total data transmission reached 844 PB, up 25.2% compared to the same period last year. Over the past three years, total traffic consumption has more than doubled — from 353 PB in 2022 to 844 PB in 2025.

The regions of Fergana, Tashkent, Andijan, Kashkadarya, and Samarkand accounted for 63% of total traffic, ranking among the top five for internet usage. Meanwhile, Urgench, Navoi, and Syrdarya recorded the lowest volumes. Around 20% of the network’s most heavily loaded base stations — approximately 1,040 sites — are concentrated in Fergana, Tashkent, Andijan, Karshi, and Namangan, where Beeline Uzbekistan operates under maximum load while maintaining stable, high-quality connectivity.
