Beeline Uzbekistan has launched VoWi-Fi (Voice over Wi-Fi) for its network users, enabling voice calls over Wi-Fi in areas with varying mobile signal strength. The technology ensures high-quality calls without additional data usage or charges.
Now, instant call connection technology is available on home or office Wi-Fi networks where the user is authorized. This is especially important for densely built residential areas and large offices, buildings, or malls where mobile signals face significant interference.
Additionally, during a voice call, the user remains connected to Wi-Fi and can continue using internet services comfortably. Calls via VoWi-Fi (Voice over Wi-Fi) do not consume data from the tariff, and call rates remain the same as those of the user’s tariff plan.
"The implementation of VoWi-Fi (Voice over Wi-Fi) for customers of the digital operator is another step toward improving voice call quality in Uzbekistan, following the large-scale launch of VoLTE/ViLTE, which is already used by over a million people. We aim to offer our customers reliable and advanced solutions that guarantee a stable connection," said Beeline Uzbekistan CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
Using VoWi-Fi requires no additional third-party services or apps, and most modern smartphones support this voice call protocol.
You can enable VoWi-Fi on your device and learn more about the technology on the official Beeline Uzbekistan website or in the Hambi app.
