Gediz Sezgin

Gediz Sezgin is a renowned international expert with more than 28 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. From 2015 to 2023, he served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Turkey's largest mobile operator, Turkcell, where he successfully led the large-scale transformation of networks, IT systems, and digital platforms. He was also a member of the board of directors at Turkcell Superonline, overseeing the development of fixed infrastructure and broadband internet.

Sezgin graduated from Istanbul Technical University, earning bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. degrees in communication technologies. In 2018, he was awarded the title of "CTO of the Year" and included in the list of "50 Innovators to Watch."
